At 5 Star Catering Ltd., we take pride in supplying delectable dishes and impeccable service to couples and their families on what is for many the most important day of their lives.

All bookings (weekend dates) at Sunrise Banquet & Conference Centre require a  $750 for off-site events. Dates will only be confirmed once a deposit has been received. A deposit will be refunded if we can re-sell the date.

A guaranteed number of guests if required no later than 10 days prior to the wedding and or event. Balance owing to the minimum guarantee is required 7 days prior to the event.

The following room rental information is applicable for all weddings booked at 5 Star Catering at Sunrise. Rooms are available after 9:00 am for a lunch wedding or after 4:30 pm for evening weddings. Earlier times are negotiable if the room is available.

Sunrise Room

This large spacious room comes with a hardwood dance floor and elevated stage for a band or DJ. It will accommodate up to 210 guests with head table and dancing. Two large glass doors provide lots of light and spaciousness, and access to a licensed garden.

Sunset Room

Adjacent to the Sunrise room is a 1,600-sq-ft space, with a dance floor that is perfect for that special occasion or can be used in conjunction with the Sunrise Room as a chapel. It will accommodate up to 68 seated guests.

Horizon Room

This room comes with a dance floor and stage for the DJ. It accommodates up to 188 guests with head table and dancing. Doors and windows open onto the golf course.

All foods and beverages consumed at Sunrise must be supplied by 5 Star Catering Ltd. No food or beverages (other than your custom wedding cake) will be permitted to be brought in or removed from the premises. Corkage events are respectfully declined. We would, however, be pleased to place special orders for the wine of your choice for your event.

The following amenities and services are included with all Wedding Reception Packages:

  • Full service including reception room setup and cleanup by our staff
  • White linen tablecloths and white linen napkins for all guest tables
    (we have items for rent for centrepieces and or bring your own)
  • White linen tablecloths/white linen skirting for the head, cake, gift, register, DJ, buffet and dessert tables
  • Round table seating for 8 or 10 guests
  • Special pricing for children: under 10 2/3 price of buffet, under 5 no charge (Max. 10% of total number of adults)
  • Fully licensed until 1:00 am, Bar Service available
  • Preferred rental rate for chair covers and sashes
  • We have arches, tulling, Edison lights and a backdrop behind the head table
  • Cake knife for wedding cake. We cut, portion and serve your wedding cake at no charge
  • Separate room to hold ceremony (nominal room charge)
  • PA System including cordless microphone
  • The day before weddings, time to add your décor to reception room (based on availability or other bookings, nominal fee may apply)
  • Referrals for DJ, photographers, cakes, decorators, florists
  • Day of coordinator on-site

Banquet Rooms Information & Rates

Room rental fees depend on the number of guests, set-up and food services provided.
Set-up includes ice water, tables, chairs, linen tablecloths, skirting, podium and microphone.
All rooms are licensed and have natural daylight (excluding Studio Room) and air conditioning.
The rental periods are from 7:00 am until 5:00 pm or from 5:00 pm to 1:00 am.
