On-Site Catering

Thank you for considering our on-site facilities for your Wedding Reception or Event. We are confident that our service, food and attention to detail will meet or exceed your expectations.

5 Star Catering is a full service facility, providing professional in-house and off-site catering.

Situated on the Sunrise Executive par three golf course in Surrey ~ Cloverdale (intersection of Hwy No. 10 and 188th Street), we provide easy highway access and ample free parking. Four licensed banquet rooms accommodate groups in house up to 230 for meal functions or up to 300 for meetings or cocktail receptions.

We offer you a wide variety of menus for countless occasions from Weddings, Seminars, Sports Teams, Retirements, Festive Season Dinners to Golf & BBQ and many more.

We also continue provide off-site catering for any occasion anywhere and anytime in the lower mainland.

Prices are subject to change and are guaranteed for a six months period; gratuities and applicable taxes are not included. SOCAN license fees will be added for live or recorded entertainment.

As a full service and fully licensed facility, all services, food and beverages and exclusively provided by us.

Booking Information

All bookings (weekend dates) require a $1000.00 non-refundable deposit for events at Sunrise.  For off site events, the deposit is $750.00. Dates will only be confirmed once a deposit has been received. Deposits are non refundable, however 50% of the deposit will be refunded if we re-sell the date. A guaranteed number of guests if required no later than 10 days prior to the wedding. Balance owing to the minimum guarantee is required 7 days prior to the event.

The following room rental information is applicable for all weddings booked at 5 Star Catering @ Sunrise. Rooms are available after 9:00 am for a lunch wedding or after 4:30 pm for evening weddings. Earlier times are negotiable if the room is available.

Sunrise Room

Hard wood dance floor and elevated stage for band or DJ. It will accommodate up to 210 guests with head table and dancing. Two large glass doors provide lots of light and spaciousness.

Room rental is from $850.00.

Studio Room

Adjacent to the Sunrise Room; an intimate setting perfect for that special occasion; it is 1600 sq ft and can be used in conjunction with the Sunrise Room as a chapel. It will accommodate 75 seated guests.

Rental is $450.00.

Horizon Room

With hardwood dance floor and stage for the DJ.

It accommodates up to 175 guests with head table and dancing. Doors and windows open onto the golf course.

Large window offers view of golf course and Mount Baker.

Room rental is from $850.00.

All food and beverages consumed at Sunrise must be supplied by 5 Star Catering Ltd. No foods or beverages other than wedding cake will be permitted to be brought in or removed from the premises. Corkage events are respectfully declined. We would, however, be please to place special orders of wines for your reception.

  • White linen tablecloths and white linen napkins for all guest tables including mirrors and centerpieces.
  • White linen tablecloths/white linen skirting for the head, cake, gift, register, DJ, buffet and dessert tables.
  • Round table seating for 8 or 10 guests.
  • Special pricing for children: under 10 2/3 price of buffet, under 5 no charge (Max. 10% of total number of adults)
  • Fully licensed until 1:00 am, Bar Service available.
  • Arch, tulling from the ceiling & backdrop.
  • Cake knife for wedding cake. We cut, portion and serve your wedding cake.
  • Separate room to hold ceremony. (Nominal room charge)
  • Informal outdoor ceremony for small groups only (Subject to golf course manager approval and nominal fees)
  • The day before weddings, time to add your décor to reception room (Based on availability or other bookings. Nominal Fee may apply.)
  • Referral for DJ, Photographers, Cakes, Decorators, Florists, Marriage Commissioners

Rooms & Rates

Room rental fees depend on the number of guests, set up and food services provided.

All types of set up include ice water, tables required for the purpose of the function, linen tablecloths, skirting, podium and microphone.

All rooms are licensed, have natural daylight and air conditioning (excluding Sunset Room).

The rental periods are from 7:00 am until 5:00 pm or from 5:00 pm to 1:00 am.

Maximum capacity for Wedding Receptions or functions with head table and dancing:

Sunrise Room – 210 Guests
